Mr.Teo of Gelang Patah, Johor has been in prawn farming for more than 10 years. He
got
to know that STAC
aquaculture training course could enhance and enrich knowledge and skill for
aquacultur operation. Hence, he
attended STAC aquafarming training course on March2001. After course
completion, he returned and started
a Indicus prawn hatchery and sea-bass hatchery at his farm. He was very satisfied with his
first trial for producing
of 300,000 pLs of Indicus prawn. The management of STAC has sent
trainees to Mr.Teo hatchery for study
tours twice within 1 month. Mr.Steven Liu, Mr.Teo partner operates
a nursery farming of sea-bass near the
Indicus hatchery in the same farm.Their sea-bass fries are very popular among aquafarmers
of Malaysia.
