A first batch of 4000 Cobia fish fries was successfully bred  on March 2006. Mr.Halex stocked all the Cobia fish fries. Growth was very satisfactory since the Cobia fish fries were stocked in a 5 meter x 20 meter x 2 meter marine cage. The growth of the fish until December 3rd in average was about 6 kg per fish. According to Mr. Halex Chua, the Cobia would keep for festive season Chinese New Year which will be on 18th February 2007.The price and demand would rise up, as local consumers  like fish fillets produced from  bigger size Cobia.
